I am looking for any advice I can get on 2d modeling software for dam breach analysis. I am currenly evaluating flo-2d demo version and I am curious what others are using for 2d modeling. I have found so many different options it is hard to narrow down what programs to evaluate. If you have experience with 2d modeling can you please share them with me? Thanks!

Used Flo-2D for a floodplain mapping study. The software is 1D for the River main Channel and you need to specify cross sections.
