2D human tooth meshing

Hi,

I am new at ABAQUS and I have one problem: how to generate mesh of human tooth as three independent surfaces i.e. enamel, dentin and pulp but they have to work together (displacements and stress compatibility among three parts). I did it in FEMAP but in ABAQUS I have problem. Please give me a short explanation about that.

Just partition the part into the separate regions in the part module and then assign different material properties to each region in the property module. The displacements are automatically tied.
