Hello fellows!

I want to know how much must I wait to turn on a machine once the filling fluid is hot enough. Its cross-section is like an eight with interior and exterior heating. I suppose that one of the best ways to solve it is with 2D conduction FEM. I've only made something similar with cartesian coordinates and only exterior heating in a cube... I'd probably have several problems with cylindrical coordinates. What would you recommend me? Do you think I could find a Fortran recipe anywhere?
Thanks
