Have an existing ass'y. Have an existing scene of that ass'y. No constraints, no tweaks. When a change is made to the model, say a height change to one part, and all the coinsiding parts are adjusted to match, when we go to the scene, some of the parts did not move to match the model. Even after the scene is manually updated, and the model is in the correct position, the scene is incorrect, leading to incorrect layouts. We had to delete the part in MS, and add a new instance of it in order for the scene and layout to look correct. Too much time and hassle, so suggestions welcome.

Try this. Check to see if Update Scene as Modified check box is unchecked in the Automatic area. This feature can be access in the Scene Options in the Assembly pull-down menu or pick the Scene Options button on the Scenes toolbar. Hopefully, the scene will automatically update any assembly modification. Hope this helps - John
