1951 steel joist loading

I need to check the loading on 16" dp. steel joist
that was manufacturered in 1952. The plans
indicate the spacing at 47" and a weight of 167
lbs. The span is 26' Does anyone have a old joist
catalog that would indicate the PLF loading?

The "167" is the joist designation not the weight. The "16" is the depth and the "7" is the chord size. This is the designation that was in use from 1948 thru 1952.

The SJI "50 year Steel Joist Digest" indicates an allowable total safe loading of 257 plf for a span of 27 feet (26 feet is not listed) for a SJ167 or a SJ167W. It has a resisting moment of 281,000 inch-pounds and maximum end reaction of 3,600 pounds.
