We have a 125V DC charger for Charging the batteries and supplying the DC Loads mainly switchgears.

Do the outgoing feeders from the DC charger have EGC (Equipment grounding conductor) along with the each outgoing cable?

Does NEC mandates that?

According to 250.134 Equipment Fastened in Place or Connected by Permanent Wiring Methods (Fixed) — Grounding. Exception No. 2: For dc circuits, the equipment grounding conductor shall be permitted to be run separately from the circuit conductors.
