rebel, if you artificially create a DESC attribute in the Part Nav with Timestamp Order = OFF you may be able to have your generated component to read that name.
I searched for your threads as you had responded to one of mine earlier about Model Size. I did not get an email notification of...
OK fellow electron pushers, I know there are several threads dealing w/ Excel, Excel add-ons and "POINT" function. I have even commented on them in the past and used them. The ability is wonderful. Now I can't find the specific ones using search. There is an add-on to native Excel from Siemens...
The most annoying problem is that there is a command requirement that does not appear. After you pick the view, create the boundary et al. There is no clue that you have to pick anything else. The icon to select the sectioned component never highlights.
Copied from the help files included in NX6. No such selection available. I have a "disassociated leader" on an ID symbol, what is the trick to reassociate it? Thanks

sitti, a word of warning from a long time user, that has studied 3 of the published books about NX. The only one worth getting at all is Sham Tickoo's book. The other 2 are loaded with bad examples of how to do things. The examples may show their intent, but will lead you down a bad path in the...
First, adjust your cope so that the intersecting tube saddles better. You have a large gap in the top joint visible and it looks like a knife edge in the side joint. A good cope will change both conditions. The knife edge will then offer a shoulder with mass enough to help prevent burn through...
