regarding the first part of ur question...i guess having the shell element dimension 0.5m*0.5m will give u what u want..but i'm not quite sure that i understood the second part...but anyway if u mean the design moment...u don have to use the maximum value cos it's not true u might use the...
yes there is but most of sap2000 users consider it difficult (they used to do it in the past when using sap90)

all u have to do is to generate ur geometry using sap 2000 and then use the editable file s2k and generate the solid element the same way as sap90....
and the re import the file...

of course u should not get the results of the c.l. of the column...cos it doesnot reflect the real thing ...
but what we do we take a 80% of the bending moment measured at a certin distance which is 1/2 of the column offset distance....

i worked in the design of quay walls and it was 1.25 when check overturning and 1.5 when check sliding...but as eureka said there are a lot of factors affecting this factor of safety.<br><br>i hope this could help

i guess slab thickness should not be less than 12" because of the stability of the structure (i mean in the mid span and u can increase it in the corners because of the transfered moment from the walls..anyway u 've got to check stresses after each assumption
what about column head or drop pannels ?...they both work <br>i suggest column head specially u mentioned that heavy reinforcement....and if u think about drop pannel u should take care of the depth
