Thanks for the replies Iklo & NutAce
NutAce, unfortunately I'm not permitted to create any type of sql script.
Iklo, I'm not sure I understand your reply!!
Hi All,
This is one for you Teamcenter guru's !!
Is it possible to search the contents of a Teamcenter folder and it's sub-folders?
As a work section we use a single folder to hold links to standard parts, everything from spot weld tips to washers. This folder is maintained as a single...
Yes John, the assembly has multiple components each with many CSYS's.
I can select, at the assembly level, all the curves from the components and move them to a different layer but not the CSYS.
It's not the end of the world just a bit annoying!!
I've now found a workaround. Move everything...
I would like to move all the CSYS in an assembly to their own layer. I click on Move to Layer and the Class Selection dialog pops up, I then filter for Datums, Point and CSYS but the CSYS cant be selected.
I've checked everything I can think of but can't find any default or preference which...
Thanks for you help a984928.
I import your part into our teamcentre based system and when I edit the two sketches in the part I do indeed get the blue graphic to indicate the sketch plane. :-)
However, when I add a new sketch to the part the blue graphic disappears as before. I think this...
"Create Intermediate Datum CSYS" Does exactly what it says, but I don't want another csys I just want the blue graphic plane to remain on screen when I'm in a sketch.
Hi Didier,
Thanks for taking time to answer again!
The blue plane is visible when hovering over a plane to sketch on but then disappears never to be seen again when the sketch plane is selected!
It's also happening to all my colleagues here as well so I'm not sure if it's a customer default...
Hi Didier
I may not of explained myself very well. The blue plane is not an actual datum plane, it's a display graphic to indicate where the plane you're sketching on actually is.
Here a video of a model being constructed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1bOjiBb_lM and at 06:09 the guy...
Hi All,
Hopefully this is a really simple one to answer.......
When we start a sketch (either Sketch in Task Env or Direct Sketch) the blue sketch plane indication appears when you hover on a possible item to sketch on but as soon as it's selected the blue plane disappears. I'm pretty sure...
In my clearance browser the New (hard) and New (Touching) have a clearance of 0.00 listed (as you would expect)in the clearance column. However, the New (Touching) also have 0.00 listed in the Distance column.
Are you getting similar?
BTW,
My results are from a round robin check with the...
Hi DHuskic
Are you using lightweight data for the analysis?
I'm using NX9 and for components that are touching (ie bolted together) I get the clearance listed as New(touching) in the Type column of the Clearance Browser.
You can right click the listed interferences and ignore them (they'll...
Hi All,
I’m having trouble solving one of those little problems that drive you mad!!
I’m using NX9 Clearance Analysis and everything works fine. However, my problem is that the clearance browser will only list the parts as part numbers but it would really make my life easier if I could see...
On the face of it open by proximity should be a useful command but what I'm finding is that it will correctly find the components within the range specified but it will also open the rest of the assembly that the components are in.
Is there a default setting somewhere to switch this off ie...
