Time and Chaos will integrate with your default email client. For instance, if you click an email address in the contacts section it will automatically open up your email program with the contact address in the send to box. :)
There is the Sunbird project from Mozilla where there is a plug in for Firefox and Thunderbird or as a stand alone application.

Agreed, I have the full version of Robot Millenium and it is a very powerful structural anaylsis and design package. This is free so you can't argue with the price. :)
I think that you will struggle to find a sub $500 program with the capabilities of TC. I would recommend Vectorworks but that is more expensive at around $1400, but still cheaper (and better) than Autocad.
I used to use TC but it just doesn't come up to the mark in a professional environment...

I use Vectorworks, as capable as Autocad but way, way cheaper and easier to use (or should I say that Autocad is way, way overpriced!). I used to use TurboCAD but gave that up for VW.
Most structural offices will use Autocad.
