    Hi, I'm trying to model a cutter similar to the dog biscuit shaped cutter half way down this page: http://www.manufacturingcenter.com/man/articles/0106/0106cad_cam.asp any suggestions on how to keep the sides of the cutting shapes always at 90degrees to the pin? Thanks

    I already tried the stuff suggested in glowing parts, but I still can't seem to make it look good. when i make the ball a constant material, with transparency at 30, I can see all the workings inside? and it looks a little flat? is there any other way?

    I'm trying to make part of a model look as if it is made from the same sort of material as glow stars, so it sort of gives of it's own glow. is this possible? any suggestions would be great. Thanks again.

    I just had a go at opening them with solid works and it said the filename entered was invalid, not found, locked or of a incompatible type? i've actually got SW2004 could that be the problem?

    Thanks rockguy. I've found a couple of trees in 3D DXF format, but I've got SW 2005 (I Think) they keep opening up in Auto Cad is there anyway of getting them across to solidworks? Thanks.
