To save a MDT part or assembly in ACIS format use the "AMACISOUT" command. To save an AutoCAD solid in ACIS, use the "ACISOUT" command.- ronm

You also need to set the command dialog box variable "cmddia" back to "1". Type in "cmddia" at the command prompt, then "1" and enter.- ronm

Reference Dimensions
Can't seem to do it with associative dimensions. It won't let you change the scale factor (DIMLFAC) of the primary units. It works with orphaned or AutoCAD dimensions--click on dimension to get grips--right click a grip, choose properties--click primary units then change scale factor from 1 to...- ronm

Turning Pop-Up Boxes Back On?
Type in cmddia (it stands for "command dialog") at the command line. Then enter 1 (to turn them on) instead of 0. This sometimes gets set to 0 if MDT is interrupted in the middle of a command or routine. Ron Morin GSFE, Inc. www.gsfeng.com- ronm
