all the bolts are the same size but used in different parts of the assembly.
we are manually changing the boms at the moment for item numbers eg
item 20 is a plate that needs 10 bolts (item 21) and 10 nuts (item 22)
item 30 is a plate that needs 5 of the same bolts,(item 31) and 5 of the same...

instead we get for m10 bolt item ... qty 16
also we want to balloon the same bolts with different item...
you can put dimensions onto imported sketch and change them but i dont think there is a scale command. once the sketch becomes a solid you can scale it.
when in a sketch use the insert autocad file button and follow the prompts. make sure your autocad drawing is on the xy plane and you should have no problems
is it possible to do a reverse fillet? ie on the inside of a corner of cut plate create a mousehole instead of adding material as a normal fillet will do...
our naval architects are attempting to check our models on screen but their pc's are pretty crap. does inventor view use less resources or is there another way for them to view and measure the model?
when you save the main assembly everything should be saved. we introduced vault and seemed to be losing constraints but it appears to be resolved now. our standard practice is to save the main assembly and make sure the files are checked in using inventor rather than vault explorer
That is what i ment but it doesnt create the section when you click done. also when you middle button pan during the command it loeses the section. ive had some sucess putting the section lines in different places and modifying them but some just wont work...
