A man has a flat tire right out side of a sanitarium. While changing the tire he kicks the hub cap with the lug nuts in it and they go down into the sewer drain.
He doesn't know what to do next. The man at the fence tells him to take a lug nut off of each of the other wheels and drive slowly...
The tick marks for the Drawing location A,B,C..1,2,3 around the periphery are "Normally" exactly 10.00" for this very reason.
Not sure what they do with smaller drawings.
A paper copy of a mylar will be off just a smiggen (engineering term)due to copier error, as Mike said.

If you are referring to my statement, no. An STC is for a modification to a Type Certificate.
A procedure is for a repair that is repetitive.
FAA Order 8300.14
You could use the previously approved data to create a Part Number specific procedure and have that procedure approved by a DER Authorized to approve procedures.
That specific repair procedure can then be used multiple times on same part number parts for different aircraft.
I sometimes wonder where the Lawyers are headed.

The last place I left went like this...
Me: 4 years without a raise, long hours, salaried position, boss just came back from vacation and announced he was only going to help where he thought necessary (He was working Commercial Aircraft, I was working Military Aircraft), but he wasn't going to...
Oh by the way... they do it at night also.
See attachment.

You have missed the point.
If you join the Air Force to become a pilot, you will become a pilot. You will plan, fly, debrief, eat, sleep and dream flying.
Until you have Stars on your shoulder, you won't have any say in what the Air Force flies. (20+ years)
You will be a "Butter Bar"...
