I wud like know about the resistence of SS 316l in dilute sulphuric acid(4%) & caustic soda(4%) service? I m talking about a waste whose Ph varies anywhere in between 1 to 14 where this material is going to be used. Temp & pressure conditions r ambient. Can anybody answer in detail plz.

I wud like ur opinion about the difference b/n a Vessel & a Column. My thoughts r that vessel has a pressurised fluid which is undergoing a chemical reaction. Whereas column is just used to carry the fluid & pass it away.
Also, wud any1 like to differentialte b/n a pond & a tank??
Thanku for...
I wonder wether pipes can be used in Heat Exchangers(Boilers). Since pipes have got greater wall thickness than pipes, I guess they wont be efficient for heta transfer. But wat if pressure requirements r there??
Thanks for ur opinion :)
I did a course of Autocad. But since i didnt use it for a long time, I forgot it. Now i want to have a quick guide which can quickly take me through the more useful commands. Can I have any such guide online.
Thanks for ur help:)
I m confused b/n these three terms but what I m sure of is these r not similar. My opinion is that pipe is specified only by its schedule, ND, whereas pipeline includes the fittings & flanges also. No clue abt line piping!!
