I have some images of company logos that I need to make into a DXF to burn on laser. I have been importing a JPEG then just clicking around it with a spline. Is there a better program to run the images thru first? has anyone used a digital pen for tracing?

In the measure distance box of a model, is there a way to get the value to display feet and inches. I know you can do this in a drawing, but I cant make it happen in a model.

I am exporting a parts only BOM to excel with inventor 2009. Everything exports fine and shows up the way it does when viewed in inventor.
When opened in excel it rearranges the order of the parts, but is fine since i started renumbering the parts 001 on and can easily sort back into order...
