    There is no difference between the minumim wall thickness requirements of API 603 and ASME B16.34. Just because a valve complies with ASME B16.34 does not mean that it complies with API 603. There are many requirements listed in API 603 that are not covered by or addressed by ASME B16.34.

    These classes are no longer associated with a pressure/temperature rating but rather with a pipe wall thickness or schedule. See ASME B16.11 Table 2. If you would like to go back in history and see the original class to p/t relationship you'll need to go to the 1966 edition of ASA B16.11.
