Correct design and detailing of X bracing in the middle Brace-to-Brace connection? (one story, so not beam there)

The examples in this document are for two-story X bracing. I'm looking for the design for X bracing with bracing crossing each other between the floors.

    Overhead crane tractive forces

I usually assign those loads the pair of diagonal angles to the nearest column. I don't see that kind of angle diagonal bracing in your details.

    SCBF embedded on IMF

Not a lot of space to put braces (just exterior walls allowed). SCBF is not accepted by local code (R-001 from the Dominican Republic)

    SCBF embedded on IMF

The referenced book is "Seismic Design Review Workbook"? Hehe.. Frankestein.

Correct design and detailing of X bracing in the middle Brace-to-Brace connection? (one story, so not beam there)

Is there any AISC document with the correct design and detailing for one story X brace for Special Concentrically Braced Frames (SCBF) I can see the example in the seismic design manual for the two-story X-bracing with the beam in the middle, but there is no reference to the one-story X-brace...

    SCBF embedded on IMF

Is a Special concentrically braced frame (SCBF) embedded in an Intermediate Moment Frame (IMF) accepted as a Dual system as per ASCE 7? Or they should have different locations to be accepted.

AISC 358 Endplate connection with RBS.

Thanks a lot, Those were very valuable opinions.

AISC 358 Endplate connection with RBS.

Is it possible to combine AISC 358 Endplate prequalified connection with RBS? Usually SMF are controlled by deflection and shape required are so strong that D/C ratios below 0.2. There is any hint on codes than indicated that I can reduce the beam (RBS) to use a smaller but still properly...

    Ordinary systems on Republica Dominicana.

I'm searching for an exception for Metal Buildings construction.

    Ordinary systems on Republica Dominicana.

There are lots of clues on the code say the idea was to apply exceptions to the ordinary systems. Like assigning a Rd (Ro on ASCE7) value.

Load combination factors for multiple overhead cranes

AISC Design Guide 7 is a good reference also.

    Ordinary systems on Republica Dominicana.

I'm checking the R001 seismic code for Republica Dominicana and couldn't find ordinary systems as OMF or OCBF are permitted under any exception. Does anybody know if this code has exceptions for ordinary systems?

KL/r<200 how to make SAP2000 omit this requirement on auto-select lists?

Tension/compression limits obligate the use of nonlinear cases that do not always run ok. I Can't reduce the K or L on the weak axis because I don't have any bracing on the weak axis. That will produce a wrong design.

AISC structure, double nut on connections...

Oh sorry. [sadeyes] Yes I was talking about washers. Oups. The main idea is for bolted connections on cold formed material is there any increase in capacity for using a washer on head additionally to the washer that goes with the nut?
