Ok, I see you meant "Line" instead of "Line Point-Point".
That's better but I still get a box with the line lenght. Any solution to have the cursor only ?

that's exactly what I'm doing but I still get a small box with the 3 coordinates (see attachment) near my cursor.
No way to disable it ?

Tomas, most of my work doesn't require coordinates. I mostly use object snap. The Input mode cursor box is just something that slows down the software response (one more box that keep opening) and cover the curves and the points where I'd want to snap.
It's like driving a car with a navigator...
When you draw hundred lines and curves every day (lines and curves that don't require that box) pressing a key each time you start drawing a new curve means adding hundred operations to your work. I'm sure there's a better solution out there!

Is there any way to permanently disable this annoying box ?
For the kind of job that I do this is completely unuseful and it slows down the workflow.
I understand that someone could need this features but why don't just offer them as an option ?

Yes, dialog memory remember what sections were open, that works.
Anyway I think that the actual interface has excessive cosmetics and dialogs take too much space on the screen. The old NX4 dialogs could show all the same parameters in a much smaller space !

I put the variable in a batch file that I use to start NX and

Anyway picking the command and opening all the options is not enough. You need to successfully apply the command to have the dialog box saved.

Is there a setting in NX 7.5 to force dialog boxes to show up completely open when picking a command ? I'd want dialog boxes to show up with all options already visible.
Right now I have to click on the arrow near each option to open it and this make my workflow quite slow.

Would it be possible to set individual dialog boxes width in NX 4 ?
I know there's a setting in the custom defaults to set a % but that influence width of all the boxes.
I'm expecially interested on setting Postprocessor dialog box to 200% while leaving other boxes width to 120%.

The background settings are saved in the part file. For new models I was able to set a certain background editing the model-plain-1-mm-template.prt file

Hudson, we use NX to design injection moulds for rubber soles production. Soles have complex 2D drawings that we create by curves. Such curves lay on a 2D plane and we finally use cam to engrave them to the mould surface. We need tools to deal with such drawings.

I wrote a grip program which is able to cut every part of an open curve which is outside of a closed curve. Still I cannot find any way to split curves at multiple intersection points. Such "split" command exist for example in Rhinoceros and works for both curves and surfaces.
