Piping insulation lagging and PEC scan

Dear forum,

Could you please advise me with the following:

Piping is insulated and covered with lagging (metallic lagging)... as shown on the picture....
What materials normally is that ? Is it galvanized SS sheets ? Might it be some other metallic material ? And what is thickness of it?
Another question what is typical (practical) rate of PEC (pulsed Eddie current) scan?
For example 8 " pipe is having OD 220mm, insulation thickness 50mm thickness that makes total D 320mm plus metallic lagging onto it. Therefor what is + - rate of scan?
I guess it is needed to know the metallic lagging type to properly set up the PEC machine?
