There’s is a pick located on the components properties in the model assembly that allows you to exclude a component / assembly from the BOM. I have seen this happen if I made the change after I created the drawing.
I use it to exclude customer’s parts and layouts etc.

Does any one delete the registry info?
Delete folders in the registry. Start, Run, type “regedit” look under HK Current User, Software. Delete Bluebeam Software, eDrawings, SRAC, S.R.A.C., SolidWorks
Delete the same as above under HK Local Machine.

I have been running SW on my M60 for 2+ years. The only mistake I made was ordering only 1mg ram. I ordered the second within a month. Also go for the 7200 rpm hard drive, this will decrease your access time when loading files.

I do some of my quoting using the excel bill. I export the bill, then add columns for each vendor, their cost, and delivery. I'm not sure I could do this with the SW BOM.

1a) I could maybe spit it and have the second part on sheet two. And I did reduce the font & manualy compress each cell to put the fire out. But if I add one more item I have to ship a magnifing glass with the drawing.
2a) I did try this and found that I will need to redue all the text, Yuck...
Has any one ever rotated an Excel BOM 90 degrees to fit more items? I coulden't find a way of doing it, so I tryied to creat a new format rotated and found that the text would not rotate with it. I tried to use modify sketch. My customer insists on an 11"x17" (B) format.
