I believe that all releases of AutoCAD 2006 are locked (as are 2007 & 2008). You should check and read your license agreement as to how many and under what circumstances you can have one license on more than on computer.
As for installing and authorizing the license on a 3rd computer... as...
In the Samples folder there should be an drawing named: Architectural - Imperial.dwg in that drawing is a block called: "Door - Imperial" which does a good job at what you are attempting to do.

One method using AutoCAD 2005... You can create a FIELD object within a TABLE that is equal to the value of the dimension and export the table to a CSV file...

The plot stamp is supposed to be there if you are using the
educational version of AutoCAD, or are using a file that at some point went through an educational version of AutoCAD. Somewhere, somehow your drawing or a component being used went through such an educational version, hence the stamp...
If you are using AutoCAD 2005, try looking at the new FIELD objects (way cool).

I am assuming that you are using the AutoCAD Electrical product... While waiting for someone to post, why not use the discussion groups dedicated to that specific product?

and to add to FH's reply... making that 1/2 sphere exactly 1 unit diameter (0.5 unit radius) when you insert it you can specify it's x,y&z scales... to get the desired effect (or at least have some known control).
