I want to clarify that by horizontally, I mean clapper in a horizontal position.

To dd to my previous post, I think the reason our customer wants to install horizontally is because that way it easier to run a pig as the weight of the disc wouldn't play a major role.

Full opening check valve is similar to a swing check valve, but can open all the way through the bore diameter. It is piggable. Even API 6D spec mentions this valve.

Hi All, Our supplier just informed us, they are going to use solid ball for a 2" floater and a hollow ball for a 3" floater. will there be any difference in performance? what is the reason they use hollow balls in some cases and solid in some? Thanks in advance
