From you pictures and videos I have trouble imagining that this is a spring (there does not appear to be an upgrade land area to create the described groundwater flow to this lot). I think swazimatt's suggestion of a water main or storm pipe leak is most likely. I would contact the...
How is the tailwater defined at the boundary node? Is the stage defined for the Time/Stage node for the full duration of the storm event or just the initial time?
To me the issue is the ability to construct more than measurement.
I imagine this would highly depend on the required construction specifications and materials.
Is this an earthen channel? (@0.03% a 1" high clump of dirt will back water 267 ft. up the channel)
Is this a paved channel? (one...
Construct the drum as follows:
Install a 55 gal bladder inside the drum with a fitting to attach an air line outside.
Have a hole in the top that allows water to escape when the bladder is filled.
Attach weights to the drum as necessary to ensure it is heavier than water when filled.
Fill with...
How far back should cars pass? I would not make guesses or internet estimates about a life safety issue such as this. I would not drive my car through that section. There may be more to the issue than you can readily observe.
How urgent is the fix needed? This depends on many factors starting...
From ICPR 4 help:
Horizontal Weirs
A ditch bottom inlet is an example of a horizontal weir and behaves as a vertical sharp crested weir for lower heads, with the weir length equal to the perimeter of the inlet. As head builds up on the inlet, the opening can become overwhelmed at which point...
I have set up saved Print Report settings a number of times (about 6)and frequently lose them.
From help:
Note that named report settings are stored in the Windows user settings, and not in the HydroCAD project file.
On one hand this is a good thing so that the settings could be used on...
I visited the site over the weekend and measured the pipes. What was installed were round RCP pipes.
Oddly enough, when I revised the current HydroCAD model to round pipes, the flows match exactly with the old report for all storms. (they did not as square pipes)
I am trying to reproduce a model from an older HydroCAD (v7.10) report. The box culvert listings only have one dimension. Anyone know if this is width or height? It seems I will still need to guess the other dimension.
Thanks

If the patio is adjacent to a structure, I suggest also checking your local building code. For example, part of IBC calls for
"Impervious surfaces within 10 feet (3048 mm) of the building foundation shall be sloped not less than 2 percent away from the building."
