Zinc anodes are used to protect alu., iron, copper, & brass on boats in salt water. They come in MANY shapes & sizes. Many with threads for mounting. Everything needs to be grounded/bonded for proper protection. Good Luck!

One thing that you don't need to be stupid to do is to fill a plastic fuel can that has been sliding around in a bed liner, without removing it from the truck. Bed liners now come with a warning, but what about when someone purchases a used truck?

Could you use a rack & pinion setup? If so then the pinion needs to have a pitch dia. of 8.1900mm.

It could likely be the fuel pump relay if the pump only runs after cranking. 'Sounds like when you get oil presure you get fuel.

viktor, There are hardness testing files or portable hardness testers which will tell you the hardness of a material & therefore it's machinability.

In order to magnetize screw drivers I simply coil 12 gage wire down the length, then momentarily short the ends of the wire across a 12v automotive battery. You need DC to do this & the wire WILL get hot & melt if connected for too long. I mearly scratch it on the battery terminals.

I think that the term you are looking for is helix, ie. helical gear. The helical gear operates more quietly than a straight cut gear, but produces lateral forces or 'thrust'.
