    Dealing with Stupid

A man has a flat tire right out side of a sanitarium. While changing the tire he kicks the hub cap with the lug nuts in it and they go down into the sewer drain. He doesn't know what to do next. The man at the fence tells him to take a lug nut off of each of the other wheels and drive slowly...

    Verifying "calibrating" MYLAR Drawings

The tick marks for the Drawing location A,B,C..1,2,3 around the periphery are "Normally" exactly 10.00" for this very reason. Not sure what they do with smaller drawings. A paper copy of a mylar will be off just a smiggen (engineering term)due to copier error, as Mike said.

IMHO the right flight conditions for a belly mounted antenna to be "sucked" into an intake would be INVERTED!

    non-fatigue DER

If you are referring to my statement, no. An STC is for a modification to a Type Certificate. A procedure is for a repair that is repetitive. FAA Order 8300.14

    non-fatigue DER

You could use the previously approved data to create a Part Number specific procedure and have that procedure approved by a DER Authorized to approve procedures. That specific repair procedure can then be used multiple times on same part number parts for different aircraft.
