Boss thinks you're spending too much time on the phone (again, this is a very "randomized" example). Instead of confronting YOU about your phone time, he complains to you about your co-worker John Doe who works in another facility...
Being able to pass on the "busywork" torch along to someone else is something that I would think almost always takes a lot more than 2 years to happen, and often times it may never happen.
Are you 2 years out of the university?

Perhaps part of the problem, if there really is a problem...OK let's say "part of the major annoyance", is that if we all throw our hands up and say "that's just the way it is", then in fact that's just the way it will always be...

In my opinion it really is beyond just annoying. It's infuriating, and it can bring out he worst in people. But, as was stated above, one can always find another snake pit to work in.
