This is to bolt a product that we make to a Product/stud we do not make. The studs use to be longer and we had the room to use a standard nut. Now we can only engage 2-3 threads so we need this design to engage a reasonable number of threads. I can change the OD of the piece that the nut goes...

I am looking for a M8 nut that has half a hex body (about 13mm) and half a small diameter (11mm ish) round.
Can anyone tell me 1. what is this type of nut called, 2. who sells/makes them.
