Changing section view for every new drawing file

Hi. I am trying to change my section view setting from the default standard with connector to standard without connector for all my new drawings. I have changed the drawing Document Properties > Section > Standard without connector but everytime I start a new drawing and make a section view, it...

Help needed on rotating solid feature

Thanks everyone for the advices. I did what ctopher advised. I was hoping to rotate the solid part along z-axis directly.

Help needed on rotating solid feature

Hi. I have created a solid using extrusion. I needed to rotate the solid around z-axis 45 degree. I can seemed to find any command in Solidworks 2004 that allow me to rotate the created solid. I hope someone know how to do it.

need help on filleting using solidworks 2004

I am sorry I think the chamfer approach proposed by CorBlimeyLimey is also facing similar problem as vertex is not an option to be selected. I tried that and it ends up well, very different.

need help on filleting using solidworks 2004

Thanks for quick reply. CorBlimeyLimey approach is scary if I have a number vertexes to fillet. Is there any other way which is more efficient? As for handleman statement, I am not sure about whether the constant radius or not. However, theoretically, if I look from the top (top surface) and...

How to apply relationship between dimension?

Thanks everyone. What's RMB? Is possible to explain how to use link (where is link in the menu?) to do it, CorBlimeyLimey? I think the construction line approach could be messy if I have a row of 8 to 10 holes in the middle of the cube to be positioned at a particular ratio (not necessary in the...

How to apply relationship between dimension?

Hi. I am quite new with solidworks. I am using solidworks 2004 and have created a cube with a cole in the middle. I have dimensioned the centre of the hole to the right and left edges of the cube to be the same. Is it possible to put a relationship between the two dimension i.e. the distance...

need help on filleting using solidworks 2004

Thanks CorBlimeyLimey! That's the fillet I wanted to create but one on one vertex and not so many. I can see the picture but I hope you can kindly explain the process of creating it using solidworks 2004. As for whether geometrically possible to have a fillet on a vertex of 3 or more edges meet...

need help on filleting using solidworks 2004

Hi thanks very much for all your help again. But I could not open the file. It says configuration data not available and then future solidworks version. I am using Solidworks 2004. Is it possible create an older version file

need help on filleting using solidworks 2004

Thanks for trying to help. I could find a corner from thr pdf of ctopher that involved a point where 3 surfaces meet. I did notice something like a corner fillet where 3 surfaces meet but it has the edge all filleted as well. The corner fillet will should create a 3D fillet with a fix radius and...

need help on filleting using solidworks 2004

Thank you for replying my query. I hope I am able to fillet it because it seems so simple. I did it with other software with just selecting the vertex and run the filleting which convert it to a 3D fillet years ago. However, now I am using solidworks 2004. I did what Theophilus said but they...

need help on filleting using solidworks 2004

Hi. I am new here and I hope someone can help in this. I am not able to fillet a corner (a point) for a part i.e. a point where 3 surfaces meet. I can chamfer the corner though as the vertex selection is available. I would appreciate very much if anyone can help me in this. Thank you.
