Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately the logo is a very complex flowery script, so impractical to trace. JeniaL how would I translate the image to a DXF?

I have been asked by a customer to add their logo to a panel is their some format of graphics file that I can use which will provide an edge curve so that I can use these to create the surface without having to redraw? Thanks.

Ferdo, Thanks for that have tried both Macros but am getting a message "stating the script entry point entry point could not be found Define a CATMAIN procedure which will be the entry point of the script. What does this mean? should I put something in the brackets at the top of the script? Mark

Does anyone have a Macro that hides annotation sets in top level assemblies, we are spending a lot of time open sub assemblies in large products to hide the text blocks and general notes, and am hoping someone has created a script that would allow us to do this at the top level product? Thanks...

No cat settings are all in one place but am not sure where / how I change so they would be individual ones?

Good morning. I am running 3 revisions of catia on a dell laptop all on dsls, and am finding that catia seems to no longer be able to save my cat settings file in terms of how catia looks, i.e. not saving my menu settings, but also switching cache management off, and other similar changes...

Has anyone come across a way to 'catback' drawing files other than saving them as dxf etc? Regards, Mark

Yes to Hybrid no to Ordered. Reseting the settings sorted it although has of course been a pain reforming all the menus etc. I suspect it was probably as Jackk suggested, not sure how it could have become switched on by importing Alias data though.

Jackk, Just not displayed, that sounds like it would have been it, will have reset this as when I deleted my settings in docs and settings. Thanks very much for your feedback will try this if it happens again. Mark

Was unable to work out what the issue was but have deleted the cat settings files and it seems to have sorted it. Am wondering if it was down to some data that has come in from UG, whether maybe that would have brought some funny settings with it.

Can anyone help I have an issue on R18. When I switch from one geometric set to another the data in the previous geometric set vanishes, meaning I am having to do all the work in the original set making the tree a mess. I assume this is something in the settings but having had a hunt through...

Yep Jackk and Fokker70 you are both right, I though seeing as I already have R16 on here that the settings would just copy over. I stand corrected. Thanks for sorting me out.

Sorry for the excel sheet, we do not have any photo editting software on these machines to create a jpg of the the print screen.

Azrael, Sorry slow getting back hectic at the minute, the dimensions is giving me the end points but not the line joining the points or the green box with the dimension in it. Have added a picture of what I see...
