I expect by-passes on traps so I specifed condensate pipes for 180C.

Static head 0,5 bar, friction loss 0,4 bar all togheter about 1 bar loss So for 1 barg I have temperature 120C.

Hi I want to check stress in carbon steel elbow (this is preinsulated underground hot water pipeline). I know all forces (axial, transverse, moment) but don't know where to put them. Should the elbow at one end should be constrained and on the other one I should put loads? Thanks in advance.

Steam line has no vacuum rating. I think i will leave open end of air vent to the atmosphere. Thank you for your help.

Hi At the end of steam mains which works periodic (8 hrs per day) thermostatic air vent is installed. I wonder if there should be fitted check valve after thermostatic air vent to prevent air to come back when steam line is cold. What do you think?

Hi I just wonder if it is necessary to design drip leg for water residues before air preparation block (filter/regulator w manual drain + lubricator). Compressor is equipped with a refigerant air dryer. All piplines are in heated rooms. Chris
