    Overcoming Time Obstacles for ECN's

Ok Gents, Well I have not used Access just yet, but I can learn. (seems to be what engineers do everyday) My PDM system is PDMworks with Solidworks. There is a limited number of seats for this and is confusing for someone who hasn't used it previously so I would not want to use that. Thanks...

    Post your Worst Boss

My worst boss: We shall call him MR. Anyway, he was a supposed machinist before he went back to school and became an engineer. He had never passed the FE or EIT exam, however he always felt his intellect was far superior than anyone else's. Plenty of times I or a co-worker would submit...

    beam elements - refine mesh

I am personally having problems with the mesh control as well. My thread is in "SW Sim09 Meshing Help" and you can see my problems. I am probably going to complain to Solidworks personally covering this type of problem. Foofire CSWP

    SW Sim09 Meshing Help

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Everyone I talk seems to be blown away by this. It is ok to admit when we don't know the answer, but I would at least like to know that this is not an easy solution. Foofire CSWP

    SW Sim09 Meshing Help

Here is a picture of the mesh I get with beam elements. The differences in the picture will show you that the mesh thinks there are many connections that are not really there. http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=40bebc2b-b64d-46df-8b4b-5c9276abe5dc&file=m90zx_basket_mesh_for_cosmos.jpg

    SW Sim09 Meshing Help

Well, now I have tried that and have actually gotten it to mesh, however the joints and connections are weird. Is there a way to modify joints and connections in SW Sim09??

    SW Sim09 Meshing Help

Hello Gents, I am attempting to create a stronger wire basket. I would like to use simulation to find the stress points for said basket. However I cannot get the program to mesh the model. I have created the model as one solid part. I have merged all bodies into one solid body. After the comp...

What is the difference between all Engineering levels? Like Engineer I, Engineer II, Engineer III, Engineer IV? Someone told me I need to have a paper certification to be considered any of these. So does that mean there are tests to be passed for these qualifications? Any info you people would...
