    "Generic Naming graph Error"

I suggest logging a PMR. This error message is as common as Command interrupted.

    Hatching problem?

Have you tried decreasing the spacing?

Is Static Analysis applicable to Functional Molded Part?

I tried that but once in the GPS workbench CATIA sees the split surfaces as individual surfaces (not joined). In the first example I tried I took a rectangular surface and split a circle in the center (without using the Datum icon). When meshing I had to mesh each surface individually. Next I...

Is Static Analysis applicable to Functional Molded Part?

If I understand you correctly you can't apply boundary conditions because when you try to add loads, or restraints or .... the whole surface\volume gets pick. Or am I totally of? Try splitting the surface into areas where you want to apply your BCs. When you do the Split, select the Datum icon...

    Splitting a part...

Try the Reflect Line. This will create the parting line. You can construct your parting surface from this curve.

    Record Macro CATIA V5 R15

Do you mean when you record the macro then go back to edit the script all you have is Sub and End Sub? I get that often even outside of FreeStyle.

    Aligned Sections on drawings

What I meant was sketching the lines first using the Line or Profile icon, constrain them using Geometrical Constraints or Driving Dimensions then "tracing" over them when creating the section line. Use the right mouse button for additional options when sketching the section line.

    Keep link

Creating the circular reference (in Pro/E anyways) is no problem. Sometimes they can get created without intending to. I ran into this a lot using Pro/MOLD. I found the models I worked with that had circular references were unstable. PTC always told us to fix them.

    Aligned Sections on drawings

What about creating your part drawing section lines as sketched lines in the drawing instead of the part?

    Dump parameter values

Do know much about VB but my best guess is the CATScript file it creates can be modified to run and change the desired settings (instead of going to Tools, Options to do it). This can be useful if you change settings often. No need to go to Tools, Options just run the script.

    Sweeping and changing cross-sections.

May also be able to use a Multi-section solid\surface.
