    Please refer to thread559-26989 If you set up the default file folder, that seems to be the cause of many a problem. I had that same problem, but when I removed the default folder, the problems went away.

    JosephV: I think you have a very good solution. I had forgotten that mate groups can now be configuration sensitive. It is not as elegant as simply moving the part along the surfaces, but it will work very well. Thanks.
