Hi DominicG, I went from Solid Edge to Inventor a year ago, and the equivelant to Revision manager is Design assistant as rollupswx says. But it's not as efficient as rev. man. in Solid Edge! The Vault is more of a database containing all your projects, parts and assemblies and their revisions...

I switch to inventor studio and render the model as a bmp The rendering time differ up to about 45 min, and therefore, I'd like to set up the models for rendering, so the computer can do it when i leave the office in the evening...

I make several models each day and would like to make the computer render pictures for them at night. Does anyone know if batch rendering is possible with Inventor? And how to set it up? :-) -Peter

Try making a square sketch with tiny rounds (0,1) for the square sketch and loft it to a sketch with tiny traight lines and big rounds for the circular top(it appears to be round but the edges may help the program unbend the cone)

You should ALWAYS use Revision Manager when renaming files linked to a draft, it will save you from a lot of future heartaches. If you open the draft in Rev.Man. you get a list of all files linked to it and their path ;-)

My experience regarding direction of the texture is to make a copy of your material and rotate it. -Eg. The texture for threads are fine in holes, but on bolts you get links thread (turning left instead of right) so you have to make a new texture for each new direction you need in the material...

Yes Kenat, But the features are mobile now so it's still possible to delete unwanted features (one By one) and get all the parts out of the "assemblypart"

Are the Perpendicular and Horiz/Vert relationships checked in your tools>Intellisketch>relationships?
