We run SWX2010 on XP64-bit machines and Office 2000. We periodically have crashes and were told SWX doesn't support Office2000, but it works... :)

I spent quite a few hours trying this as well. The only solution I know of - Spaceball 5000 USB. with driver 3.6.6 There is no way 64-bit would take 4000FLX. At least I couldn't find it... If you want to go back to 32-bit machine and use your 4000FLX with SW2008 you need to install 3DxWare 2.8.2...

I’ve been using 3dconnexion Spaceball 4000FLX for a few years now. I use it not only for rotating, zooming etc., which works great, I also use shortcut buttons on it, instead of using icons/extra mouse moves, keyboard. I highly recommend it!!! Up to 30% increase of productivity!
