    Optical Coating / Paint

Thanks for the link, but I do not see how that link provides information on making my own coating. I looked around that site, but did not see anything else either. Am I missing something? EDW

    Optical Coating / Paint

I am looking for an economical source for a highly reflective, but diffuse coating for an integrating sphere. Everything I have looked at costs a fortune... I am not looking for perfection... I would use Flat white paint, but I need UV reflectance & I believe most commercial white paints have...

    Particle separation

We are working on a process to separate particulate of different size. The one material is spherical steel 100-300 microns and the other is <50 micron and is a metalic flake. We want to aerodynamically separate the 2 materials; they are airborne together. We have used a cyclone separator, but...

    Intake Silencing Techniques

The problem with all reactive type elements is that they are always tuned to a specific frequency. The peak frequency of the engine varies with rpm. Also, on intakes you do not want to choke the flow as that kinda defeats the purpose. There are a couple of possible solutions that can help...

noise absorption of a tailpipe within a pressure relief system

I think most of the noise reduction along a pipe will be from noise breakout. i.e. energy radiating through the pipe. If you are still interested in some help with this. Post a reply and I will assist you offline. I have experience designing noise control equipment for these types of applications.
