Publish Partbody of Front.CATPart Create a new part called Back.CATPart Copy paste as result with link the Front Parbody to the Back CATPart. Assembly the linked body to Partbody in Back. Remove the pocket from the Back part.

Edit a forumula for the length parameter

The .125in will convert the sting (must be all numbers) to inches and divide by 1/8.

Thank you. It's a pretty handy module for separating data, stock boxing and analysis of parts. I steal it from time to time but it is paired up with a YM2 and used in our estimating department.

Possibly the drawing is linked only to PartBody. Right click over the View name and select View Object --> Link Modification
A menu box should pop up and tell you what you are pointed to.

You need to have Product Knowledge Template and I would recommend Knowledge Advisor to create assembly templates in a catalogue. On the computers you wish to instantiate the template you will need a KT1 runtime license.

It appears the colour mapped on the surface is not very accurate to with respect to surface contour and you are limited to only mold draw direction for draft checking? The picture does a nice job of visually explaining.
