A work around for interference detection in a Multi-body part is to try the combine solids feature, and select "Common". If the resultant works, the interference will be the left over solid body.
You can also set up the design checker to detect dangling dimensions. It will list them for you, and then as you click on one of the items, it will zoom to the dangling dim
