I didn’t say that I will not follow the standard. Engineering is continued learning process, and I just learned something new that I overlooked, because experienced PE was doing that way for years.
Question is why? And why does it apply to fillet weld but...
I’m used to using fillet stitch weld of floor plates to the beams 1" long every 12". One of these things that this is how we do it in the company, and no one ever questioned it.
Recently I noticed section in AWS 2.3.2.4 calling for minimum 1-1/2" for intermittent fillet welds.

Question come up in my company, what to do with original drawings that has been revised.
As a practice my company does not give wet stamped drawings to client, we always keep them in the office. When project is done we stamp IFC drawings with revision 0, make copies, scan drawings to pdf...
I went thru my notes from concrete class, and min steel in footings was based on 10.5.1 not 10.5.4.
I agree that flexure might not be a concern, but it is present and 10.5.1 apply to min steel where tensile reinforcement is required by analysis, even if is not controlling.

Looks like the plspole will work for me. Mainly we will be designing wood poles, that that program implements requirements of ANSI 05.1
I’m not that familiar with ANSI 05.1, so is there any major difference between 2002 and 2008 version? Plspole checks ANSi05.1-2002...

suggestion don't study like you normally would do (unless you dont know about subject), but do problems and get yourself NCEES reference book, the one that you will have on the exam, and use it (ONLY that one)to solve all example problems in Lindeburg review manual.
