modifying intake manifold, how high should it be

I have a 6.1 liter dodge hemi, i need to modify the intake manifold to accept a twin screw or roots blower. I want to keep the height above the hood as low as possible, so my question is, when cutting the manifold is there a minimum height it should be for performance, or does it not...

    twincharging estimated results

as i'm getting close to pulling the trigger on parts..i'm trying to figure out the smallest size blower i can use for the system...whipple makes a 5 liter...a bit smaller than the 6-71 in physical size as well.and has a rear air intake which is nice...any thoughts as to whether the whipple will...

as a follow up...i'm assuming a twin screw supercharger would work the same as a roots in the twincharging set up..yes?

    "wastegate" for centrifugal supercharger

so you are saying that someone makes a blow off valve to regulate pressure for centrifugal superchargers?..do you know who?...it has a blow off valve now, but that is obviously for throttle off conditions...

    "wastegate" for centrifugal supercharger

assume i want 9psi boost..i have a centrifugal supercharger...it puts out 9psi but i want it at a lower rpm..so i put on a smaller pulley...does the job..however at the higher rpms it produces too much boost...is there a way to blow off the extra boost?...similarly to what a wastegate...

    twincharging estimated results

like i said this is fun, when you talk about positive scavenging and valve overlap, i presume you are referring to the exhaust stroke of the motor, where some of the intake is actually blown out the exhaust side, right?..i can see how that is affected by cam duration, but how is it affected by a...

thank you...looks like the 6-71 with gt45's...here's one for you...do you think i should inject above the roots at all for cooling and lubrication?...i could run 8 above and 8 below?..
