I have a 1250kVA 11/0.4kV DYN11, oil cooled, distribution transformer at stock kept idle for about 7-8 years without being connected to power.
I want to test weather is still in good condition. May you please give me the Testing procedures I should follow.

To simplify the problem, if you can get these fittings in 3-phase that will reduce the cost of your cables, meanwhile it will be easily to balance the total load, OTHER items such as distribution board will not differ mnuch with cost.

i believe your completely not right by saying that your perception of working in a consulting firm was an illusion and you think now a most of the work is done by the manufacturer. IT IS NOT TRUE AT ALL. Being an engineer doesnot imply that you play with calculations for design works...

Can anyone help me with the accurate calculations on shortcircuit currents for RING MAIN UNIT. I have 8 Nos 800kVA 11/0.415kVA transformers which are supposed to be installed in ring circuit.
I would like to get a spreadsheet or something similar together for the design of shortcircuit...
