    Eratic Mouse Behavior

My Mouse is uncontrollable on new drawings or drawing I am trying to revise. The Mouse jumps like Snaps are on, but they are not. It is near impossible to get the point to start you want. Has anyone else experienced this? Other than this I think it is great to have an option to Acad.

    DraftSight

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask a question re: DraftSight or not but here goes. Anyone know how to get shut snap off so that mouse will move smoothly and be capable of stopping on a line or point? Thank You in advance

Extrude or Cut Straight then at 15 deg

Thanks to All. I was able to get the 15 deg laedin by using the same cut template and putting it on the 15 deg Plane I added. By adjusting the cut template up and down on the Sketch I was able to get it to cut back to the 1.25" dimension. Again, thanks to all.

Extrude or Cut Straight then at 15 deg

I have an extruded part that is a square shape, then 10" long. I need to cut a shape in the top for 8.75" parallel to bottom then change the cut to an angle of 15 deg with the base and keep the cut sketch perpendicular to the base for 1.25". I have no problem up until the last 1.25".

    'fully defined sketch'

My computer died. It was exchanged by our company with one that had SW2007 ipo SW2006 that I was more familiar with. On the most primitive of sketches (a circle) when trying to extrude the circle, I am faced with an error message that states 'This operation requires a fully defined sketch'. Only...

How do you use SW to calculate forces?

How do I set up to calculate the force required to "Coin" a shape into a piece of 1008 steel?

    Plot Stamp for SolidWorks 2006

Is there a Plot Stamp type of feature in SW similar to Acad's? After so many drawings you tend to loose track of the different revisions. This also goes for: Drive, file name, date, scale, etc.

    Sweep Boss

Thanks bvanhiel. I had my section as a part of the same sketch. As soon as I separated it form the path, the Sweep Boss/Base icon lit up and the Part was swept. Thanks again.

    Sweep Boss

I have constructed a 3D wire frame that is the centerline of a Bent Wire that I want. How do I go about Sweeping a circular shape along this wire frame centerline? The Sweep Boss/Base Icon is shaded, not lit. I was able to do basically the same procedure on a wire frame that I constructed on one...

    Rotate Origin 90 Deg.

Am I correct in assuming that it is not possible to Rotate the Origin 90Deg to get the Front and Right to be in correct position. I think that is what I read in: thread559-101772 Thanks 11991
