hello,

I have a stent like model and I need to unbend it. Is it possible to do it in creo?

Thanks

Yes. But there is only one option i know of that will allow you to do it after it has been created. You will need to convert the part to a sheetmetal part. You will then have to define where the part will be split, so it knows where to unfold. I've only done this with parts with corners, so not sure how you would do this with a cylindrical part.

If you remodel the part, you will have more options. The bend function comes to mind first. But you could probably do some fancy relations and creative modeling to do it too.

Hope that helps,

Can you post a picture of the part? Depending on the geometry there are a few options. Sheetmetal is only one.
