RE: overhead travelling crane supporting system

Each manufacturer will give you his loads for the crane you need.

For example: From "Crane Handbook" by Whiting Corporation for crane 25 tons with 25m (80ft) between rails:
Max Weel Load = 240 kNa (54000 lbs)
Trolley Weight = 50 kNa (11500 lbs)
Total Crane Weight = 320 kNa (70500 lbs)
Weel spacing = 3.8 m (12.5 ft)

After you get info from crane manufacturer, you may use AISC Design Guide Series No. 7 (Pub. No. D807), which has very good chapters on Crane Runway Girder Design and Column with crane load Design.
