Subtidal Slope Stability (Bay Mud)
Subtidal Slope Stability (Bay Mud)
(OP)
After dredging contaminated sediments, a cap is to be placed to contained contaminated material left in place. Parts of the area are at slopes up to 5:1. The cap will comprise bay mud from a nearby area that will be placed with a clamshell and leveled (but not compacted). THe material is San Francisco Young Bay Mud with high clay and silt content.
Has anyone experience with stable slope limits for a material of this type?
