RE: ISO 2768

We are a metric company in the US and use ISO 2768 as our drawing dimensioning standard. Which agency are you looking for approval from?

RE: ISO 2768

1)is iso2768 the tolerance standard?( for the dimensions)
2)do you use any other standards in your drawings?
thanks,

ddkb

RE: ISO 2768

DDKB,
Our title block references ISO2768 and our component supplies are familiar with the tolerance standard.

Drawing format is to our corporate standard, according to DIN practices in all but one case (did't like the angle dimensions rotating text orientation, so all text is horizontal.)

RE: ISO 2768

No place that any has posted about. You have to buy them from the issueing organization or a distribution company like Global Documentation.

"Fixed in the next release" should replace "Product First" as the PTC slogan.

kokelj,

Please see the FAQ Where can I get ISO specifications from? (FAQ182-802). Also, see the post in Thread177-23759 by member TVP to understand why codes are not available for free.
