Vehicle Ramp

(OP)
I'm looking at options for vehicle ramps loading onto floating concrete structures...it's pushing the limits since we are looking at a tidal range of up to 26 feet and probably a 5 ton load limit..... does anyone have or know of similar installations that we could look at for scoping purposes and operational issues?

Vehicle ramps for RO RO ferries???

RE: Vehicle Ramp

Hydraulically operated loading ramps for Casino boats have been designed and installed on the Mississippi, Red and Ohio rivers.

The technology is based on the offshore LiftBoat industry which has been elevating workbarges in inland and offshore waters for over 20 years by means of a hydrualic or electric driven rack and pinion system.

River stages of over 30' and a lift wieht of over 600 tons were accomodated for Caesar's Entertainment Complex on the Ohio River, Harrison County, Indiana (across from Louisville, Kentucky).
