Lost communication HYSYS 3.1 - Matlab???

Lost communication HYSYS 3.1 - Matlab???

(OP)
I have been succesfully using Olaf Trygve's Toolbox for Hysys with Hysys 2.4.1. But now, with Hysys 3.1, it's not fully working. Matlab 6.5 says "Unsupported Variant Type" when using hyconnect.

Does anybody know what's happening? How can I now communicate Hysys and matlab?

Thank you!

RE: Lost communication HYSYS 3.1 - Matlab???

I am not familiar with Olaf Trygve's Toolbox, but I do know that the object model for HYSYS has really changed from v. 2.4 to v. 3.1 (which the people at HYSYS tend to do with every version). Therefore, it is not really a surprise that your interface application no longer works. I suggest that you try to find out if there is a new version of the Toolbox, or contact the author.

Cheers,
Joerd

Ok, I've found the problem. It is a documented error in Matlab r13's COM system; two Matlab files were substituted, and it has started working again!
