Building ECU from scratch

(OP)
Hi, everybody!
I'm looking for comments and sujestions on building an ECU.
I have a basic understading on what is involved in this task.
If anyone can direct me to some documentation on the subject, I will appreciate it very much.

RE: Building ECU from scratch

John,

I am assuming that if you're contemplating building your own ECU, that you must be well versed in electronic engineering, TTL, assembly language (or some comparable programming language), electronic fuel systems, and so forth.

That being said, you can consult with the guys and gals at www.diy-efi.org for more detailed help and recommended reading material. Also you can visit http://www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt.html to download schematics for a simple, yet functional ECU.

Good Luck
Bryan Carter
